DriveBoss SMS Program Terms
These SMS Program Terms ("SMS Terms") govern the operational text-message program coordinated through the DriveBoss platform on behalf of transportation providers offering non-emergency medical transportation ("NEMT") and related services. By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms and to the DriveBoss Privacy Policy.
1. What You Are Opting Into
By opting in, you agree to receive operational text messages related to your transportation service, which may include:
- trip confirmations;
- trip reminders;
- driver ETA updates;
- arrival notices;
- delays;
- cancellations; and
- return-trip coordination.
These messages are operational and transactional. They are not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional outreach.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your trips, your transportation provider's workflow, and operational events such as driver delays, pickup readiness, and trip status changes.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. DriveBoss does not charge a separate fee for sending or receiving operational SMS messages.
4. Opting Out
You may opt out of operational SMS messages at any time by:
- replying STOP to any DriveBoss-coordinated SMS message;
- asking your transportation provider's staff or dispatcher to remove your phone number from SMS notifications; or
- contacting DriveBoss support at 888-505-0667 or [email protected].
Opt-out requests are honored promptly. After you opt out, you will not receive further SMS messages through the DriveBoss-coordinated workflow unless you opt in again.
5. Help
Reply HELP to any DriveBoss-coordinated SMS message to receive help and contact information. You may also contact support directly at 888-505-0667 or [email protected].
6. Consent Is Not a Condition of Service
Consent to receive operational SMS messages is not a condition of receiving transportation service. If you decline SMS notifications or opt out, you continue to receive the same transportation service. Your transportation provider may instead notify you by phone call, IVR, in-person communication, broker portal, or any other channel offered.
7. Carrier Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
SMS opt-in data, consent records, and phone numbers provided for SMS communications are handled in accordance with the DriveBoss Privacy Policy. They are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver the messaging service, such as communications platform providers, and only for that purpose.
9. Eligibility
The SMS program is intended for riders, authorized contacts, and other recipients who are receiving transportation services coordinated through a DriveBoss-supported transportation provider. You must be the subscriber or authorized user of the phone number you provide for SMS notifications.
10. Changes
DriveBoss may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
